Swapping the Auto tranny to a manual trans

I am planning to switch out my auto tranny to a manual tranny for my pro 5. . But the problem is I don't know what I need. So I need help on this and tell me what do I need in order to do this.

yeaaaaaaa.......im considering doin this..you def gotta be paid (which im not lol) to do it. itll run ya close to 3 grand. you gotta have the tranny, ecu, wiring harness, shift lever, a master cylinder for the clutch hydrolics, etc etc its a lotta s*** that you need

We have done this before, its not that difficult at all, but if you dont get all the parts at once, it can be a pain.

Basically what you need (what I remember right now)

1. Starter (auto starter has a different gear)
2. Transmission
3. Clutch and Flywheel
4. Clutch Slave pump
5. Shifter with arms and support
6. Clutch pedal assy.
7. will update as needed...

Sell and buy a new P5. It WILL be cheaper if you aren't upside down.

It is not an old muscle car, you can't just easliy change from auto to manual. Lots of stuff is tranny specific when it comes to newer cars.

You will be surprised that Mazda swaps are easier than Honda swaps.

MTX swap is sooo easy. Anyone can do it.

Step one: Sell ATX p5
Step 2: buy MTX p5 for $500 less.

Total cost -$500

i posted a list of the parts needed right during/after i did my swap. you don't need the master cylinder

You need to swap out the driveshafts, They have a diferent spline.

i am considering doin this conversion as well... it's cheaper 4 me as well... well where i'm from at least.

automatic is the shiet... plus its way too much of a headache/dollar signs. People trying to be fast in a wagon when the chassy is too heavy, might as well pick up a miata and do things with that.
