Suspension Creaks (sway bars)

OK - did a search, didn't really find what I'm looking for.

2003 P5, 90K miles.

Got squeaks in the front - I'm sure (without checking) that its the sway bar bushings. Two questions - what lube do people recommend? What is the torque rating on the nuts?

Got bumps/rattles in the back. Dealer says play in sway bar bushings (WTH?). Also a bent control arm. Any experience with this? Advice?

lol...my car has the same problem...i still dont know y its squeaking...n when i went to the dealer they said the same thing...lol

I would try checking/replacing the endlinks first. They're cheap ($30), and you're about at the point where they might be giving up. I Had what started as a squeek and gradually turned into a clunk, replaced the enklinks, problem solved. If you wanna be really thorough you can grease up the swaybar bushings with some lithium grease. By the way my '03 P5 had about 100,000 miles when my endlinks started to go.

I have the same squeak and never even thought of the front sway bars. THanks for the idea! I am going to try silicone spray now...

As for the endlinks, replace them if you hear a 'clunk' otherwise I don't believe the squeak is coming from the endlinks.
