suspension creaking/moaning under slow compression

my driveway has a bit of a 'twisting' pitch as the street is a steep hill and of course the driveway sweeps flat. every time i back out of the driveway i hear a loud creaking/moaning sound from the front right wheel area. the front right is under compression (as is the left rear), but i don't understand why so much noise from a newer car. anyone else experience anything like this? i haven't noticed any noises at any kind of speed (like turning into a parkinglot), just in my driveway. but its driving me nuts!

Ditto here, but all previous posts seem to indicate lubing some portin of the front strut assembly. I will investigate when I order and receive my "correct" front rotors. Once I have the entire weight off the wheels and tear apart everything I will look at the strut washers and grime scrubbers for dryness.

1. Jack up your front end
2. Push up the dust boot/bump stop
3. Apply White Lithium grease to the strut rod and underneath the dust boot/bump stop.
4. Bring dust boot/bump stop back down
5. Apply White Lithium grease to the upper/outer part of the dust boot/bump stop
6. Move dust boot/bump stop up and down to distribute the grease along the entire strut rod.
7. Bring vehicle down, wash hands or remove gloves, have a beer!

Dont be frugal with the grease, apply generously!!

So I did it. While working on replacing the front rotors I looked at the creaking/groaning sound issue. At first I lifted up the strut boot and saw jack s****. I persisted and the bump stop dropped down pictured. Mind you I did this with the vehicle on jack stands with wheels off. I shot white lithium grease, from autozone, in the top of the bump stop hole and under it and ran it up and down the strut rod a few times. I did this with both sides and then re-assembled. Not surprising enough the noise went away.

This is nothing new as it has been suggested already a few times in the forum, but I just wanted to confirm for the doubting.

My dealer told me that there was a TSB to cover this noise, but didnt cover all cars.. There was a change in manufacturing that "negated" the need for TSB. Mine has the noise and they cant make it go away for long.. It always comes back.

There is NO TSB for lubing up the strut rod. This is a fix that our fellow SportOwner shared with us. The TSB that there is, is about replacing the strut upper mount...which I performed prior to the lubing at my own expense (may I add) and did not fix anything.

occasional creak - not under compression

I hear an occasional creak in my 09 mostly under light acceleration or light breaking. It sounds as if something is not properly tightened with the suspension....
