Superprotege still racing awaiting the completion of his big brother, supermazda3

Superprotege now running a GT35R turbo. Hoping for big dyno numbers and to run lower than 11.9 s in the 1/4 mile.

We won again

By God's grace and mercy, for the 2nd year in a row, a car built by TBK Performance and sponsored by Hiboost won 1st place for hottest midly modified mazda at Hot Import Nights (HIN). Supermazda3 won this award on Saturday 12/20/08.

We would like to thank everyone for there continued support and blessing.

Our upcoming plan is to try to compete @ HIN St Petersburg, FL on 4/25/08, maximize the big engine to gain over 600 whp and compete in NOPI Dracing Series if it gets ressurected.

We are also still planning to put the upgrade kit on local speed3 or 6 to validate the power possible with the Hiboost upgrade.

Haha the girls came back to model I see. AWESOME to see things are moving along great. I like the new seat covers on the Pro too. VERY nice!!

It has been awhile but the quest for big power continues. Please see the pics below of the big engine being put together.

We have ran out of time and willnot be able to go back to the track to test the car before HIN but should have dyno numbers for the big engine by then.

We had a fuel problem which was prevented us from boosting more than 18psi at the Nopi on 4/18 with the GT35R turbo. The fuel problem was solved, the car was retuned for higher boost and we went to the dyno recently.

Unfortunately, it was a dynomite dyno not Dynojet like we are used to. Please see the 494 whp @ 25 psi slip below. We were disappointed and did not even ask for the next run which was 501 whp @ 27 psi. We did the caluclations later and realized that on a dynojet, the 501 would have been about 525 whp

We went to the tracks on 12/5 to blow some stem since we had not been to Moroso since it was close for renovation. We realized in hind site now that we were unprepared.

As you can see in the video the rear was loose (we need to adjust the rear shock + install the bigger rear sway bar) and the runs were made with too much boost between 28-34 psi. The car was spining tires through almost every gear, too much boost.

Once we start testing the big engine, we are going to have to go low boost and slowly raise the psi till the tires start spining. We are going have to go with wider tires also.

We are hoping to have the car ready for HIN, pray for us.

Thank you all for the continue support!

why would you be mad it was not a dynojet!?! those dynos have been proven over and over to provide basically false numbers. there is no load put on the car like on dyno dynmaics dynos and mustang dynos. dildojets are for people who care about a pretty number and not REAL performance to the wheels. If i were you all, as a group trying to produce powerful cars, i would stick to good dynos that do loads and pull lower and much more accurate numbers...

Heard the Pro ran 11.4 1/4 at the track last week. Broke the record again while breaking an axle again too lol. I don't have slips so don't ask me for it. Just forwarding what I was told from TBK.
