Ok, so ive read their how-tos and i see that the download screen (once you start downloading) should have a slide bar on the bottom...as you slide it to give you a higher download, up goes the upload bar with it...i would be happy to upload just as much as i download, however, i dont get those options. all i see on my download window is the name and size of the file, the progress bar, esitmated time, download to (insert directory), download/upload rate, total downloaded/uploaded...

their forum is uber-slow, so im hoping someone can help me?

i dunno about a upload bar, i been using their site for a while and never seen it. maybe its outdated info?..

depends on what client you're using. you can only control the number of upload connections with most clients - and you'd have to use another program to control how fast or slow you download.

or maybe you're behind a firewall and router - which will slow down the speeds. you'll have to configure it to work through the firewall/router.

usually my speeds start off slow and pick up speed within 10 minutes ...

well that sucks, but at least ive gotten a lot of plugins and stuff for photoshop!

again - depends on what client and what version you downloaded.

Shadow's Experimental client is on version 5.8.8. which is what i use - works great! it has a bar to control upload speeds and # of upload connections you want. it looks like this:

Think most of them limit your dl depending on your upload. They say you can override it but sometimes it does not work. I've been using suprnova since it started. I use the ABC Bittorent Client.
