Sunday San Diego Meets

Looks like I won't have anything different done to my car this week. I was hoping that I would have the springs installed, but thats a big no go. I took it to Pann on Monday and they told me there wasn't enough time. No big deal, I'll go back Thursday before work. Today there was enough time, we got the paperwork going, car in the garage, they popped the hatch and were stunned. Ok, I get that a lot with my sound system, I didn't think anything was wrong. Then they told me there was nothing they could do as long as the amps and box were mounted in the car. So I get to spend all next monday, as long as I have the day off, taking out by precious box and amp rack(1hr), getting the springs installed(2hr), then putting the stuff back in(1-1/2hr). Fun stuff.

O well, the time is still 2pm for this week, correct?

Looks like I might try taking out the sound system tonight, get the springs installed tomorrow morning, and that will leave me with 2 hours to put the stuff back in then get ready for work. It should work out.

Chris, the MazdaSpeed muffler you have, does that need to be wielded on? I'm pretty dumb with cars, and would prefer a bolt on, but I liked how that sounded and would like it since it's a Mazda part.

the mazdaspeed muffler is a bolt on part, it's like 2 bolts and the hangers, real easy to put on.

common, kyle, how quick you forget.. of course we've met. your p5 is the one that suffered the unfortunate damage, and you have the mazdaspeed sticker down the side of your car. we've talked for a few minutes.. don't you remember, my transmission took a dump, and i was looking at your lot's red second gen? i fixed that, and much much more. swapped it myself.. i'm keeping it forever now, i've decided. i figure, if i can pull the engine and swap the tranny, she's got a lot of life left, and a capable owner to do the work. oh, and i swear his sig pics must not have been working, because i would'nt have asked about it if it was right in front of me. lol

I just wanted to update for every one this week's winner with a best lap time of 34.8 was .... Me Im glad some people showed up and I wasn't stuck at work. See ya in two weeks. I will have to work next weekend now for sure. It will give Chris a week to practice.

The speed circuit is within walking distance of my work so I will surely be able to make it. But on the weeks of charger home games like this Sunday I cant cause I have season tickets. Anyways I will look forward to meeting everyone soon enough and getting my ass kicked in karting too
