Suggestion for MSP appearance forum

Will this be a separate forum from the PHOTO/ VIDEO section?

I browsed the SRT4 forums and notice that there are stickys of members ride. Theyre broken down by the color of the car. How about we try that here where its broken down by year and color. You can also add your production number so that there will be less post a pic of . Just wanted to know what you guys think.

There's already threads in the Photo/Video section by color (titanium gray, spicy orange, etc. etc.) Some of those colors include more than just MSP's. Like for example, the RX-8, Miata, and 3 come in Titanium Gray as well.

Personally, I don't think a separate MSP section is needed, photos and videos of our cars are something that everyone can enjoy.

Let's see what others think.

The reason why there isn't a subfolder for MSP Appearance in this section is because appearance questions are not MSP-specific. Take for instance: taillights, HID's, neons, vinyl graphics, window tint, body kits, etc. They are applicable to all Protege's.

So the Appearance forum in the Tech section is for discussion on these parts. The Photo/Video forum is to post photos & vids of your car and what you have done.

I'm still not exactly sure what you are asking/suggesting, could you clear it up a bit?

Also, just letting you know that the subfolders in this section were just added, and are not yet functional. The MSP section is undergoing some big changes, and it's going to take a while to get everything organized. So just be patient with the change, and if you have any suggestions, be sure to voice your opinion.

You know how people make threads like "post a pics of your car". I was say it would be nice to make those sticky's.

That's what I thought, I was just making sure. Your best bet would be to contact one of the moderators in the Photo/Video forum. I think a subfolder in that forum that contains the threads sorted by color is a good idea, and it would be the best spot for it. Having one here would just separate the MSPers from the rest of the boards even more.

And maybe have the moderators set up a format for everyone to follow? That way it will stay consistent.

Anyone else have any comments regarding this suggestion?

Oh wait I just realized that there's now a MSP Appearance folder! Yesterday it wasn't there lol. Sorry about the confusion. Like I said before, this forum is going through a major overhaul, so things might be a little crazy or confusing until everything's straightened out.

Yeah, I'll see about this. The Photo/Video section already has a few threads about it so the admins may not like me creating stickies for the MSP in the MSP Appearance section but I like the idea. I'll check in to it and add it to my list of stuff to do after moving all of these threads.
