Any one ever put a wrx scoop on a P5?

i always thought the 2 wagons looked semi similar. If not, could anyone photoshop one on?

There used to be a girl on here that had one on her P5, but due to incessant leg humping by the male members, I don't think she comes on much anymore. Check the P5 lounge section...there used to be pics. However, if I remember right, the scoop didn't look very good at all.

it looks kind of lame imo.
this one is not mounted...just set up on top of the hood. lol
not a real wrx scoop, but its close enough to give you an idea what it would look like. of course this is an msp, not a p5, but same front end.

The WRX scoop looks terrible on anything besides a WRX IMO. And, on a P5 it would serve no purpose, while on a WRX it does.

Plus, do you really want to help fuel the bad assumption of "Hey, nice Subaru!" ?

Considering i have wanted a WRX since i was 16, 4 years ago, Yes. lol.

i know i should just get one, but cant afford it with school loans.

Personally I'd go with with a new hood that has cut outs or that reverse scoop looking thing to it. Looks better and could serve to help keep cool air around the engine. just my two cents. If you really want a hood scoop I like the low key one from a Saab 92-x Aero, same car as a Subaru just different skin and interior. If done right and molded into the hood with some fiberglass work and what not I think it could look alright, just not worth the time and cost for me.

Another scoop that may or may not work is one off a Mustang Mach1. I almost bought one for 20 bucks at the all ford nationals just to see waht it would look like on it. but i never did.

Its got the body line in the center that would match up with the one on the P5.

obvioulsy take the 351 off. and possibly work the ends to curve with the flares in the hood. maybe not

I'm pretty sure there's a (or was a)hood for the protege/protege 5 that had a little cut out for a SRI/CAI. You'd have an opening WAY too big for a SRI.

Whats the company that made the functional scooped hood for the pro? I know they don't make em anymore but they do pop up on Ebay from time to time.

Maybe I'm just a bit harsh because I went from a protege to a WRX so I guess I'm being kind of a snob about it. I say sell the protege 5, buy a bug eye/peanut eye and pay off the student loans later =)

lol.... i would love a bug eye wrx wagon. i gotta at least pay off the P5 first. only 2k. but im trying to build my credit as well so i dont wanna just pay it off.
