Subaru WRX: buy or not to buy?

im lookin' to buy a 2002-2003 subaru WRX....any suggestions? yes or no? (yupnope) i just dont want to get into a vehicle that isnt any FUN or WORTH THE MONEY...

WRX is fun, a used 2002-2003 shouldn't be too pricey either.

Stock they're kinda boring and slow. Seem to ride really high.

The aftermarket is great for them though. If it's a car you really plan on having a long time it'd really be worth getting one. Go for the bug eyed WRX, not the newer ones. Bug eyed = hotness

Depends what you're into car-wise and how much money you have. The 2004 GTO is a good deal right now as far as power goes. Although it looks like ass you can still have a lot of fun with that V8. The Chevy Cobalt SS actually sounds like a pretty good vehicle if you can find a decent deal on one. The WRX obviously is a lot of fun too if not a little over-priced. I was thinking of getting one myself as my next car since they redesigned the interior to be nice....so yeah you should get one and then let us know honestly how it is.

Depends on what you want to do with it, do some research, go and drive one, then decide.

I own an '03 and I love it, it has great power and handles great and there are lots of aftermarket parts that are avail for it.......took it out to an open area of private property and had it up to 136 mph and it was still pulling it scared the s*** out of me that it still had power...... only mods are a CAI, a cat back Greddy and BOV.

I could be wrong but, doesn't the forester have an sti engine w/o a turbo? The forester kinda ugly in my opinion though.
