Sub Box

Does anyone have plans or ideas for a nicely mounted 12" sub in the trunk? Something that works but leaves space in the trunk. I am moving my system from my older Grand AM to my 2000 Protege.. Thanks...

^^^ what he said, i have mine nicely tucked into the passenger side of my trunk, and can still fit just about anthing in there. even a 4x8 sheet of mdf board. Its really not as hard as it looks, just a bit more expensive than a regular wood box. I think i spent ~100 for supplies and a weeks worth of working on it here and there.

You only need one amp for 2 subs but of course that depends on their power rating. You want to match the RMS power handling of the subwoofers with the RMS output of the amp.

For example, if you have two 8 ohm 250w subwoofers wired in parallel for a 4ohm total load, you want an amp that puts out 500w at 4ohms. A bridged 2-channel amp could easily put out this power.
