Atleast give the man a sub and amp model reccomendation.

No, don't you know? that's the beauty of elemental designs, you really don't even need to know what you want, or what you should want, Infact, if you do, that's likely toomuch information and you'll be of little use to them, Imean they to you.... you just got to the elemental world, join the flock, and Ben himself automatically spitsout the ultimate badass sql setup for the dopest sounds, and they'll even give you box dimesnions at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!

I went with an Alpine MRP-M350 and the Image Dynamics IDQ-12D4(great advice from 1sty!, thanks again!). I put it in a Q-logic 1.25 cuft ported box. The thing hits REAL hard.

I gather that you have made a decision already Ameoba, but if you are looking to conserve space, look into the Kenwood wOOx. I used it in my P5, and it is remarkable considering the form factor, plenty of bass, I think very good sound, and it JUST fits under the passenger seat, facing down. I have a 4 channel amp under the driver seat (attached to the seat) to run the doors, and the wOOx under the passenger seat. Been going good for almost 3 years now. If you seacrh this forum or the others for wOOx, there may still be some of the old threads still around. Defnitely look into amping the door speakers and replacing them with a reasonably priced upgrade to make the most of the sub!

The e1200 and a W0/W1 is close enough in power output. If you want a more powerful sub in the combo, then You can go with a 10W3 in a JL box and an alpine MRp-M350 to power it. Its a perfect match power wise.

I usualy don't like going to a higher powered sub with the stock speakers in the mix but if you are going to be upgrading in the future then its cool. The Jl w3 in a box is around $275 and the amp is only $199.

For a total system amp the Jl e6450 is an outstanding value and performer. Its basicly going to comsume your entire budget on its own though.

JL is proably the most popular car audio company in the game right now. There quality the best I have come across and the products are outstanding. The reality of the industry is that everyone may think there better then JL, but its JL everyone is comparing themselves too.

i am running the same sett up that 1sty was talking about (jl 12w0 and the e1200) and it sounds great with the stock kenwoods, its not overpowering and for the price you cant beat it. if you wanting this amp and sub i can get good deals at hifi buys in nashville. i have had mine for over a year but i think(not sure) i paid $149 for the e1200 and $99 for the 12w0 in the box minus the grill. but like i said great sett up simple, clean, and loud
