its also got a different front bumper different wheels. some suspension work different seats, steering wheel, shifter, radio, and a subwoofer/amplifier in the trunk.
I've been wondering that too, is the chassis the same on the MSP and a stock protege? I mean can I go out and buy things listed for an MSP and put it on a stock protege? you know, suspension, valve cover and other things, and like buy the stock turbo "kit" and from an MSP and just bolt it onto a protege.
i knew i was forgetting something. the exhaust is also different. from what i know i think you can buy everything listed. but then i heard its a better power to dollar ratio if you get aftermarket parts. you got to wait for the more knowledgeable members to confirm this information.
There are a lot of small differences, it depends on what you want to do with the car. The suspension is bolt on, as well as the interior parts. I believe the ECU is mapped differently and the exhaust is bigger, but you wouldn't want to convert your car to the same turbo specs as a MSP when you can get more power with a Hi-boost or MAM kit on your current setup.
from what i've seen some kids took the MSP exhaust and put it one a reg protege. but what i was thinking about is adding a cold air intake. but the only ones i found are for the MSP and maybe an exhaust if it would fit
