Stupid exhaust questions ..

GaBerry67MS035 - one simple way of looking at it is like this. If you do it all at once, it'll be cheaper in the end vs. piecing things together and spending more time & effort for the installs. Do it right the first time, it saves headaches.

no prob :) the main thing you should think about is what muffler you wanna use. cause that will basically determine the sound you'll get (granted there are other factors). but think first, then you'll be able to narrow your choices down to the one you want. and if you don't see one that's offered, go custom.

GaBerry67MS035- You should gut your cats and either buy a cat-back exhaust or get a good friend with a welder and some extra time. Some 2.5 inch pipes would be like 50$ max. and another 50 for the flanges....Don't ya wish you knew someone with a welder....

Hey i wanted to know, i do know someomne who is a welder, and i was gonna go for a full cat-back system, but i wanna get some adivse, what if i just get rid of the cats, weld on a pipe to fill where i took the cats out, and the just got the flanges and bought a bigger muffler, will that do the same as getting a whole cat-back system? Thx

You would be best off to buy the flange that bolts to the casted downpipe, and run a full catless system with new pipe, just getting a larger muffler wont help the fact that the stock piping from the cats back is around 2 to 2.25 inch.
