my friend crashed her mazda3 and has the same keyless remote and i want to use it

i don't believe its compatable... and there is a how-to to program them I believe... dealership charges a rediculous amount.

yeah, programming the remote is as simple as turning your key off and on so many times then pushing the door button in the door frmae soo many times till the car doors lockunlock, then, push the button on the remote

done.
