stuff I can't figure out about Mazda 3

I just got my Mazda 3 yesterday, hatchback, Titanium Grey, with Xenon light package, moonroof/6 Cd Changer package, and abs/sab/sac. It's really tits, and I love driving it, but there are a couple of things that I wasn't sure about hoping that maybe someone knew. First off, is there anyway to have the cd player be random for all cds that are inserted? instead of just being for whatever cd is playing. Also, under the tuning knob, it says Text. What exactly is that talking about if you can enter text somewhere?? Also, why is that even if I have the air for air conditioning or heat on the off position, air is still coming out of my vents or whatever the location dial is set to. If anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it, and I'll probably have more questions for next time.

well everycar I have owned with the controls of you still get some airflow (very slight) because its the air that is being forced into the car from the outside.......the controls jsut turn the fans on and off. not close the vents and stuff from the outside......while i think anyways.......

as for the text that is for the mp3 player, maybe the minidisk too not sure

If you don't want air coming in just close the ducts by pushing the left side of the button, not the compressor button, the one in between the a/c compressor and the rear defrost. It has a picture of a closed system. The right side is open system to let fresh air in.
