I'm thinking about buying a brace, but I'm not convinced that is really needed(or does anything) for our cars.
Towers are very close to the firewall.
Another thing, that kind of makes me to buy them, is that my windshield it was replaced, after a stress crack.
Lowered car could have "helped" with the crack, or it is something else? Thinner metals/windshield, allow more flexing?

I have one. Can't tell the difference while driving, but I got for the same reason - preventing windshield stress breakage.

I don't think a strut tower brace will do you any good.

The strut tower support is integrated into the body of the car.
Mazda isn't shy about adding strut tower braces if they provide benefit (protege5 for example) but even in performance applications (mazdaspeed 3) they do not add them where they are not needed.
