What's shakin' everybody, I'm going to be installing some Tokico HP's and Eibachs in feb and was hoping to have a "how to" to help me through it. Did a lot of searching and found nothing. I am a noob to this forum so it could be me...I'm retarded. (boom01) Any info and advice would be great.

Took your advice man and just good a service manual off ebay for $5. Hopefully thats all I'll need in the future as well. Have you done the strut+spring install yourself? How'd it go?

Cool another local. If you want help let me know, I did mine this summer. Also we're having a meet next Friday at "The Claddah" in Middleton, you should come out.

was it a book or cd, cuz i want a book for mine but all the ones i see are cds only or somthing

I'd love to man but I'm going to school down in Chicago right now. I might get a hold of you in Feb. if I get stuck with the install.

All I could find was the service manual on CD. Seems like thats the way they come these days...only 5 bucks though what the hell!

Hey, I got the 19mm AWR sway on the rear w/ his endlinks. Think it would be a good idea to buys some endlinks for the front since I'm probably going to mangle the stock ones anyway?

you can just leave the stock endlinks alone if you don't change the bar. the front bar really doesn't need to be changed

ok so im lost still. if i do shocks and springs i have to do somthing with the endlinks? i have the eplish springs and tokico shocks coming

the endlinks connect the ends of the swaybar to the strut bodies. in order to change the struts, you'll need to disconnect the endlinks.

it's REALLY not hard, and very obvious what needs to be done once you look. really- if you can function on a daily basis, you can figure out how to do this.

just make sure you have a spring compressor (avail on loan at pep boys) to compress the fronts before you take off the top. people can point out potential trouble spots or helpful hints along the way.

for example: when you change the rear struts on a sedan, you need to detach the seatbelt tensioners (the little boxes that hold the coiled-up seatbelt inside). tape the seatbelt to the tensioner before you unbolt it so the belt doesn't retract into the box. otherwise you might end up having to open the box (like i did), and re-wrapping the spring inside (like i did). pain in the buttocks.

wow... you opened up the seat belt tensioners?! If you just hold it right side up(level to the ground) the tensioner will give and you will be able to retract the seatbelt back.

Well I'm going to give it shot and install the blue's and eibachs in Feb myself. All I've done so far is the Kartboy SS and AWR rear sway so this will definietly be more difficult I'm guessing. Anyone have any experiences or wisdom for somebody installing a new suspension for the first time?

dude its easy, thats y i was confused about all this endlink crap lol, its very easy and ppl were making it more complicated than it is, i mean if somthing is bolted to it you unbolt it, and then get it out gl man

just one. the other worked just as you said, but the second one must have gotten jammed. way annoying.

get an alignment when you're done.
