Strange behavior from speedometer

I have a 2011 Mazda3S with a 2.5L engine and I'm experiencing some strange behavior with the speedometer. When I start the car, the speedometer needle jerks, and the electric locks activate, as if the car is already moving when it is actually stationary. I’ve attached a photo for reference. There are no error messages appearing, and the RPM gauge reads normally (the ABS light has been on for a year but isn't related to this issue). Once I reach a speed above 20 km/h, the speedometer operates normally and the automatic transmission shifts as it should.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this? Thank you!

This is commonly caused by a faulty vehicle speed signal, often a bad wheel speed sensor, a wiring issue, or a failing instrument cluster, which can momentarily tell the car it’s moving at startup until the signal stabilizes.
