Straight water neck hose diameter

I am looking into making some straight water necks and need confirmation on the hose diameter. I got a JDM water outlet from a friend of mine (Mazmart) and it measures 35mm, but someone else measured their stock outlet and it measured 30mm.

Normally it is used for clearance when running a 3" downpipe. I think its a worth while investment.

Most people run a spacer for the thermostat to clear a DP, I purchased a straight water neck kit but never installed it.
