same thing happened to me this year, but the cops showed up and scared them off, they couldn't steal anything but the remote and the trim ring around the cd player WTF! Damn, I wish the cops could run faster

That sucks!! But at least it looks like they were gentle.(shrug) When my stereo got ripped out of my Starion, it was literally RIPPED out. They made minced-meat out of my whole dash!

I feel for ya, though. There's nothing worse than a fricken dirty thief!

almost nothing sucks as bad as someone stealing something from ya. Last year, 2 assholes stole my parent's car the day before i got mine. I came really close of not being able to get mine since my dad had to be there too =\ It sucks when you know someone is enjoying what you paid for and used for a while. The worst was when the cops caught the guys; they had use our minivan to steal s***. Interior was full of fast food garbage, seats were burnt with cigarettes, coffee spilled on the 2 remaining back seats + front and rear bumper were all ****** up. First time i saw my dad cry in years. I take great care of my car, but i've never seen someone love and take care of their car like him.

SOOOOOOOOO good thing is, you still have your car and they didn't eat your seats. Gota look at the bright side

I've felt that pain before. But this might make ya feel a little better...

I came out to my car one morning to find a broken window, cd player ripped out of the dash and all my cds gone. The thiefs apparently dropped the face for the cd player on the way out of the car. I picked it up and locked it in the glovebox and headed back to the house to call the police. I spent the next few hours in the house waiting for the police. When they finally showed up and we walked to the car I found the glove box had been pryed open and the thieves had taken the face. Even the officer called me a dumbass.

Maybe that made ya smile, maybe it didn't..

Hey all...thanks for the concern. It was the one time i actually didn't take the face plate in with me. I'm completely insured. I had to pay a $200 deductable so it wasn't too bad. The window is already fixed, and i bought a pioneer 8500 deck with the $800 they gave me for the Kenwood z828 that was in there. I still have to phone mazda so that they can replace my center consol (also insured). They must have scrapped it with a screwdriver trying to pop the deck out. This is my new stereo which gets installed on friday...yeah insurance!
