Stock Unit will NOT come out

Okay, is there some trick I'm missing? Seriously, because I've been trying for two hours to get my stock head unit to come out using every possible trick I could think of to get it to come out. I've got two sets of ford keys, something like 3 instruction books telling me how to do this and all the how-tos on the boards and this little @#%$# will not budge. Can someone let me in on the trick, 'cause I'm at my wits end. I really want to get my new head unit in (Clarion DXZ745MP).

You can actualydo it with just one set of keys. I did it using the bottom set.
The key don't go in far, only aninch or so. ONce in place, push the keys outwards, toward the doors. Then pull on them, grab the ape deck portion if you have one to get some leverage.

There is a chance the decks mounting clips are bent and that you will need to push the deck in a little, basicly just apply presure to it, then really seperate the keys and pull out the deck.

If you don't have a tape deck, pop that little panel off. it's jsut pressed into place, might take a bit of work as there are rubber seals, but get it off, and use the hole as a handle to help you pull. it Will take a bit of a tug.
