sure is that kid is an idiot. but now he says their gonna replace it after i threatened to sue them. my sub went out about a year an half ago and they did replace that. but there were different workers then. the s*** has to be replaced no matter what. as long as your warranty is still valid, everything on that car is under warranty and should be fixed or replaced no matter what. whatever hes telling u don't give in. u can threaten them. my brother is a lawyer, he told me exactly what to do.

Every 10k miles...it flips open and STOPS WORKING...?

so i am on my 3rd referb....(2 weeks ago)
and this time around ...my sub is not working...?

i wonder if the idiot forgot to plug in the RCA for the AMP?
thus i was looking for a HOW TO remove and got here

good luck to all those with a BROKEN unit
my dealer had NO issues ordering replacements
just i hated wating...averaged around 1 week to get in

48k miles, and the damn thing finally lays down on me. Now the dealer says "They will have to check to see if its under warranty". I helped them out with that, now playing the waiting game for a new one to come in. So far its been two weeks and counting. I'm guessing it would be easier just to buy a different unit and be done with it............

Hey guys, i see all of you complaining about your headunits and subs and what not. Well i bought my car in august from some guy in miami and it had 2 12's in a pretty sweet box, 1600 watt amp and power cap and a pioneer premier headunit. I really dont need it and want the stock system along wtih the kenwood headunit(the one i hae is better but for some reason im stuck on being stock in that area) so if anyone really wants to get rid of theres and maybe make a fair trade? say wahtever that stuff is worth off whatever i have is worht. then i would definlay want to work out a deal. my email is JimmyCap74@hotmail.com and my aol screen name is JimmyCap74

Well, it only took 3 weeks of driving with a walkman in my ear, but the dealer came through. Got the *new* radio installed yesterday and finally, once again, have music coming from the doors. And, under warranty.....
