Well, I'm planning on buying a stock MP3 in a few months and was wondering what to get for it. I am oped to criticism on all this, please tell me what you think!

I know of Protegegarage.com, but what other websites have parts?

Here is what I figured I should get for semi low-cost upgrades;

Short Shifter
Cat-Back exaust (recomendations?)
OBX Stainless steel race header

What else, preformance wise?

Also, I'm open to visual upgrades too!

Thanks!

awesome the mp3 is such a nice car xD

u can look at the forum's vendor page http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5496
i heard corksport is also a good vendor wit protege stuffs

for the cat-back, people will always recommend racing beat. for the mp3s i think it has a racing beat muffler. dont forget to get a CAI or SRI. those give power too. once ya got exhaust, intake, headers, ya can start looking for other mods xD

for visual upgrades, i'd take rockblockers for the fogs and headlights to protect them. not only they look kool, they protect ur lights from damage. i'd also take some daveB rings for the gauge cluster. those look really nice when ya get it in. i'm planning to get these when i get a bit more money xD

good luck!!

I'd go, in this order:

1) Cold Air Intake
2) Header
3) Short Shifter

Then decide if you don't like the sound of the exhaust. Our stock piping flows pretty well, and I enjoy the sound that comes from the Racing Beat muffler personally.

are you trying to stay N/A im guessing cause if you are not i might have a turbo for sale, it would be the stock turbo off of a MSP, im getting the GT28RS.
