stock exhaust mod

Yeah, I was just bustin ur ballz lol.

It should sound nice though as long as you have some type of muffler.

Won't sound nice w/ this auto trans. It'll drone. I had straight dual pipes w/o mufflers on one of my V6 camrys, it sounded nice, but it was a stick. 4 Cyl and 6 Cyl auto trans. cars don't sound nice w/ straight pipes no mufflers. Either stick shift or V8 sounds nice.

Ive gotten the most comments possible on my exhaust on my protege... and its an auto, you just cant over-do it IE: straight pipe. Stay simple and do one step at a time untill you get what your looking for.

It can get loud too, i've gotten 3 summonses for unnecessary exhaust noise for my camry and had to go to court for it. But man, that V6 stick sounds nice when u rev match, it gets u into trouble w/ borla/magnaflow equipped Mustangs, everyone thinks ur tryin to race them at the stop light. Its an inexpensive way to get dual chrome or stainless steel pipes on ur car and lower weight and get some free flowing power, but yea on an auto it would be over doing it.

yeah see we are trying to compare other cars saying all 4 cyl auto sound the same. just trying to get an idea. so maybe if someone is switching to the cp-e exhuast can take a video with it off before they put it on.

I tried out the exhaust w/o the rear section when I installed my hitch. Sounded about as loud as my Evo which has a turboback exhaust and high flow cat. It is not obnoxious at all. The 2 cats and resonator really tone things down. So an aftermarket rear section with say a pair of magnaflow mufflers would be very mellow. CP-E is coming out with their rear section. I suspect it will be really quiet if it is installed with the factory midpipe.
