Stock dyno run with pinging, help!

Well since no one is sure about the AF problem, can anyone explain why his hp & tq #s are basically opposite of what they should be?

Is there any way we can get this thread moved into the new MSP Engine section? May be more appropriate there plus we may get some other people looking in there. Still working on this situation, I'm gonna dyno the car again next week, completely stock (stock BPV) and with a fresh tank of Sunoco 94 to see if that makes any difference, and if there was any errors in the wideband. If that doesn't solve anything, off to the dealer. I'd just like to know what I could do on my own to fix this if for some reason the dealer won't do anything about it.

The new subfolders aren't open yet, meaning you won't be able to post replies. The mods need to talk to each other to figure out exactly how we're going to do the re-organization. It's going to be a lot of work sorting through more than 8000 threads, and merging and moving them as necessary to clean up the MSP section.

This thread will end up there, but I'm going to leave it here for now, so you can get more replies. Once we get the new folders opened up so everyone can post there, it will be moved to the MSP Engine & Performance folder.

My two cents.
First I think that JAYMODE is completely correct in his assumptions.
Black magic, Im not sure exactly what you mean by " no one is sure on the A/F".
He is running WAY to lean up top. BUT we also dont know what gear the pull was done in and if the WB was installed before the cat. If it is a simple tailpipe measurement then it isnt anywhere near as accurate as it should be. I have seen cars read lean up top like this before. Anyway one of your problems is the ECU tuning. It sucks. Sorry but it does. The IC also sucks. Fix the inherent design problems with the car and you will see a much improved performing vehicle. Start with the FMIC upgrade and better gas. BTW was all this on stock boost?

my guess is the wideband on the dyno was incorrect(this isn't very uncommon from what i've seen)
I called back the shop and they claim the wideband usually isn't wrong but if it is its really wrong. But I also called Agile Auto and they say that if I had been running with my a/f in the 13-14 range for 9,000 miles, something probably would have gone wrong already. BTW, they did stick the whatever sensor for the wideband in the muffler, not before the cat, so that could be why it is so off too. The runs were almost all in 4th, the last one was in 3rd just to see if there was any change in numbers. Maybe I can have Agile dyno the car too after i get my guages installed on Monday, see if they pull any different figures.

yeah sticking the wide band in the mufflerfor your readings is like trying to smoke crack through a.....well.....its like trying to smoke crack.

Glad you guys are here, I'm no dyno tech. I should ask for my money back. Better yet, I should sue for mental anguish, hahha j/k. Next update: Monday I'm gonna try to dyno the car again at another place now on 94 octane. Thanks for all the help/input, it's very appriciated.
