Stock dyno run! 253 HP and 283 TQ

With that much WHP and Torque, you should be able to run high 13s and trap at around 104-105mph. That should tell the tale of accuracy on that dyno. I wish my Speed 6 had those numbers. I guarantee it's not even close. Definitely 25 lower on each without question. You got yourself a freak of nature bone stock Speed 3 if that is accurate. I suggest heading out to track. Seriously, with those numbers, high 13s is not gonna be very difficult with the right launch. Your trap speed should surpass any magazine times as well. That will end all the doubts. :)

Personally, I feel the dyno is either very generous, or the car is not 100% bone stock. Doesn't take much to make a Speed 3 run the dyno. EVen the smallest of mods can do it. :)

2 be honest i think some car's are really factory freaks. I mean i'm using 91 octane and i ran my buddy's 01 LS1 SS with Intake, exhaust, Lid. And from a 15mph roll to about 75-80 he got me by about half car- 1car.

The sad thing is that i shifted 2nd and 3rd at 6500rpms not paying attention!! "Im Wondering if it could have been neck and neck shifting at 5800-6000rpms. Because it is a big difference, power drops big time (STOCK).

For instance there are 2 Stock MS6's that have hit mid 13's.

13.5@103.15mph
13.5@99.98mph

couple 13.6's-13.7's. But I think the MS6 is capable of breaking mid 13's stock. For the MS3 i have no doubt they are probably underrated and factory freaks.

that's just my opinion(yes)

I agree, but I don't want to go to the track until I complete a few more things. Like a few strut bars and a tuning solution. And maybe the upgraded tmic.

Strut bar wont do a damned thing for you on the strip. Just go run it. If you never went to the track before even with the rest of the mods you have, your gonna be running 14's. It's 90% driver, 10% car. If I had the time I would be out there but I wanted a baseline before anything else touched the car.

Yes this is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT STOCK!!! Except shifter bushings... I didn't even have the intake box off. I wanted to but forgot. The guy made me do a pull then one right after so I didn't get three trys. I will post the numbers mod for mod. He is very intrested in this car too. He said it may be a freak.. I hope so, but I get the intake in soon so we"ll see what that does.

I did go to the track once but this car being a top mount and all, by time I got to the start line it washeat soaked. Still had a 100mph trap but had a bad launch.

I'm gonna go to the track soon sense I have a good motor mount now and see what it can do.

I meant to say sway bars... But anyway, maybe, just maybe I will hit it up soon. There is so much I want to do to this car.

we're talking 1/4th mile track right? Swaybars only aid in body roll. They don't do much for rear end shock compression. That's what you want to avoid in a FWD car on the strip.

I believe the factory freak thing. There is always a discrepency in HP with high HP turbo cars. My 04 STI for example, was faster then my buddies 05. He swore I had the fastest bone stock STI he'd ever seen. He dyno'ed at 247whp, and I was pulling on him on the freeway. Some of them have pulled high 12s bone stock. Just one of those things. Some engines are tighter then others. Most likely thing is that the car is running higher then stock boost, and that's the tweak right there. :)

what? Is it or is it not? I have some money to spend and would like to get this all straight to make a good choice on where to begin on the suspension.

You'll have no problem running a high trap speed, since you are officially modded. We all know this car responds well to even ths slightest of mods. What I wanna see is a 100% BONE STOCK, right of the dealership Speed 3 Trap at 105mph. Then the 253whp, 283 wheel torque will have validity. Even the slightest of mods make it irrelevant and inaccurate. :)

I got 250 whp and 281 ft lbs with just a CAI, I have a thread up with pics of the printout somewhere around here... too lazy to dig it up right now, but it's in the tuning section if I remember right.

Pretty amazed to see that bone stock... but that's definatley an MS3 dyno sheet. You can tell by the sharp drop right at 5700 rpm. Looks exactly like that on every legit MS3 dyno I've seen.

Went to the track, today and got pretty good numbers for my first time launching a fwd. I tryed before but the motor mount issue forced me to back off, cuz of wheel hop. This was my 2nd run against my buddies srt-4. Almost the same trap speeds. It was a good trap for how hot it was today(amb temp 98/track temp really hott), and that track isn't so good, slightly up hill...lol

His srt-4 normaly traps around 103-105, so it was def hot out today. The 1st run he had he got a 102 trap, but then he was heat soaked for the rest of the day. His mods are agp wg, tbe, and intake w/out a good tune. He may have some other things but I'm not sure.

I know my trap was low but it felt like timing was getting pulled really bad do to heat soak. The car didn't feel near as fast as it normally is. I will go back as soon as this heat is gone.

From a roll we are really close, he is faster by a car from 40-120
