Stock CD pocket, does it have a support bracket/bar?

Hey guys,
When I had my gauges put in, I couldn't keep my CD pocket since that's where I wanted to put them, but the guys who put them in told me there was no support bracket. Is that true, or were they just blind (getting the gauges out is a bit of a pain so I haven't looked myself)?
I'd like to know so that I can take it out if it is supposed to be there before I sell the CD pocket without it...

there is a support bar that should be there in the middle of the pocket and HU.

hopefully the previous owner didn't take it out for some reason...I think he may have. Wouldn't the support bar be under the pocket though (otherwise, what would it support?)?

the car came from the factory w/ the HU on top of the Pocket. The Support bar is actually more for the HU I believe.

If it doesnt have one you can buy one from mazda for a few bucks...

my HU doesn't seem to have issues holding on it's own...but maybe it's there. I'll eventually have to check.
Either way, if it's made to hold the HU, I won't be getting rid of mine then. Thanks again!
