im building my engine and upgrading to the gt28rs. i am also running the stock bpv and greddy rs bov. i am keeping the dual setup however i do not know how much boost the stock bpv can handle. any insight on the max boost the stocker can handle?

if i need to upgrade bpv, which valve should i run?

i was looking on forge's website and found an identical looking stock replacement of the bpv. does anyone have any experience or heard anything about this particular bpv? here is the link:

i appreciate it!

i emailed forge motorsports about the bpv and here is the reply:

"Jeff,

Thanks for the compliment. All of our valves can be adjusted to operate at different boost pressures either by swapping springs or by means of an adjustment knob. The valve in that kit uses the first method and can be configured to run from <5psi up to 40psi. You can specify your desired boost level when you order and will build it to suit.

I had run a Bosch valve when I was running the dual set up and I noticed the difference and it sounds good. You can usually find them in junk yards on audi, volvo and porsche's. Almost all euro turbo cars came with a similar valve.

Im only running my bpv, but I swap it out to the perrin bov recirc. It can hold an unlimted amount of boost cause of the spring effect it has bulit in. You can turn it for it to harder or looser. Depending how fast you want it to react when boostin. I love it and plan to upgrade to a gt28rs too.. Hope that helped some what.
