Stock Bose sub filled with pennies, stupid PO

So I had this rattling around every time I took turns fast. I finally got around to looking at it and it was the sub. I had to take the passenger seat out to fully remove the sub but about 10 pennies fell out of it.
Stupid PO must have dropped change on the side of the passenger seat and the way the sub is shaped it eats everything that drops there.

So be careful with your change. Or if you want to play a dirty trick on a friend with Bose, drop change down the side of the seat. (evil)

LOL - I took the change out of mine just the other day. I keep mine in my ashtray and was pulling it out to get some quarters and it fell spilling change everywhere. Best piggy bank in town though if you can handle the rattles :)

Also, you don't have to pull the seat out. Just take off the 4 bolts and push the front up and pull it out that way.

some silly rear seat passenger may have fed them in there as well... either yours or the Previous Owners...

There were two small square additions to the seat rails that were in the way. The rear wouldn't lift off the fixed bolts. Maybe I didn't try hard enough.

PO = Previous Owner

Hate to bring back an old thread, but how big is this sub. I just purchased an MS3, and there is enough bass for my liking, but I definately can't imagine this sub to be more than 8 inches.

Anyone?

6.5" or so.

its not that small.

Don't forget that speakers are measured based on their mounting ring.. nothing about the actual "speaker" cone is measured.
