Still having trouble with Intake/Maf sensor

hey guys i have 99 LX protege 1.6l , and ever since i bought this Injen tuned cold air intake when i connect my MAF sensor my car will sputter between 2400 and 3400 rpm like its not getting gas...when my car sits over night and i turn it on first thing it runs great...then when it warms up 2 minutes later it starts sputtering and all that mess....does it matter if i accidently bought that Injen for my 1.6l when it was meant for a 1.8l ? ?? if i get a mod chip and tune the A/F ratio, install my exhaust it will balance out? ...advise please
i tried disconnecting the battery to reset..

lol ya its getting the wrong MAF reading you will need to get the right intake. your exhaust has nothing to do with the intake problem.
