speakin' of the 21st of dec.....anyone in Anch willing to let me park my suby at their place for 2 weeks, so I don't have to pay $100+ to park it @ the airport?

You can park it at my house I live on EAFB so it'll be safe. lol And if you need a ride to the AP ..........well i guess your s*** outta luck lol just kiddin i can hook you up on a ride to the AP if you need one!!

Dude, that would be Awesome!!!!! I found out it's like 12 bucks a day to park @ the Airport, and that equates to somewhere near $150-160. That's like 12 car washes, or a sh**load of good mexican tequila.

The think about it is, our flight doesn't leave till midnight, and I wouldn't want to trouble you at that time of the night, esp. since its a Tuesday;

I'm thinking maybe we would take a cab, cause how much could it possibly be from Elmendorf to the Airport, y'know? it's less than 10 miles.

Yeah she should be ill let her know tonight. What time do you think you are all going to be in anchorage?

Why the SUBY??

my wife has to work on that day (dec 21), so we'll prob leave here around 3pm. I'm giving myself plenty of time for that drive, I'd like to arrive there around 9pm, so that might mean we'll leave here around 2pm, rather than 3.
If all goes well, I should be able to do 6-6.5 hours. and if I leave @ 2, that puts us there @ 8-830 ish.

the reason I'm using the Suby is cause it's got AWD, and BLIZZAK's. I aint takin any chances with the P5. The last thing I need is to loose traction on those notoriously un-grippy Dunlops, and end up stuck off the side of the road.

Yeah i hear ya i still havent got my studded tires on yet. to lazy i guess.

Well we will keep in touch and figure it out when time comes!

You can use a claybar on that road grime Casey. It comes in a box made by Miguiers... bout $8 I think. Don't put Simple green on you paint if possible!

Another route would be to use a good car soap, let it soak on the grime in concentrate form. There is a sponge, it has a cover to it that reminds me of fish net stalkings, that is made to remove grime and gunk. Just wet that thing down and scrub where you have the concentrate/grime, scrub until shiny.
