sticking eyelids

i just got my eyelids in and went to put them on...i figured i'd just use double sided tape, but when i stuck them on they wouldnt stay in place....anybody know of anything stronger that i can use that wont be perminent

are you using foam double sided tape? that should work fine, 3m stuff is the best

yeah thats exactly what i'm using but they just dont want to stay

if you have wax on, youll need to strip it off of your headlights for the tape to stick. same goes for armorall.

what would happen if you heated up the light then tried to stick it on? Maybe that will help it bond to the headlight? I dunno, just a suggestion..

i just went to home depot and got some velcro....it seemed to do the job...i guess the real test will be next time i go on the highway and get some wind blowin under 'em....my friend lost his on the turnpike goin like 70

actually we were going like 90....

we used 3m double sided tape on my girlfriends p-5 eyelids the first time. they came carbon fiber but she decided she would rather paint them body color, and let me say they were hard as hell to get off. when we reinstalled them, we used doublsided tape again and they are not going anywhere, even going like 90. just make sure the headlight is really clean and you should have no problems.
