Steering Wheel Badge?

Alright, so I have a slight temper. Most of the time I can control it, but tonight was different. It was a bad night at work, the dishwasher didn't show up, so I got stuck doing that, then got bitched at for not doing the things I usually do, even though I was busy covering for the dishwasher. After work I called a "friend" (using that term very lightly, now), after getting off the phone with this "friend" I was pretty angery, and in that moment of not thinking, I punched the hell out of the steering wheel. ( I know a bad idea, with the air bag and all, but I wasn't thinking, and felt the urge to hit something, perferably those "friends" but the wheel would suffice.) Got home cooled down, went to get books out of my car to do my homework. Noticed in that moment of anger, I dented the badge on the steering wheel. So now I'm just as pissed as before. :mad: So now all the temper got me was a hurt knuckle, and a ****** steering wheel.

Moral is though, dont get pissed over stupid things then take it out on your car. I'm an idiot.

So is this badge removible? So I can get another. The wheel isn't damaged, just a bent in the center M badge. I'd really like to fix this soon. So it doesn't keep agravating me.

My dealership had to replace the badge after they scratched the hell out of it. They wouldn't let me in the shop, so I don't know if they just switched out the badge or if it's part of the wheel itself. I'd think it'd be a seperate piece, though.

I scratched mine when I put the club lock....damn it..
how much it cost to replace it?

i think you have to replace the whole center part on the wheel

theres a pretty big sratch from the dealer on that part anyway, so that wouldn't be a bad thing.

I need the same badge.. I scratched the hell outta mine with the club as well. So did anyone find out if you can just replace the badge??? I was also thinking of going to a sign place and have them make a mazda emblem that would cover the scratched one. Who knows??

my moms ES steering wheel emblem is scratched too somehow and its really gay looking. i asked the dealership and they said its part of the airbag cover
