Steering Rack Replacement

Hi,

I have a 2009 Mazda CX-9 GT, about 75,000 km (46,875 miles). Went to get the tires changed (winter to summer) and was told that I need a steering rack replacement as it was leaking. The quote that I got was $1215, all inclusive....does this seem reasonable?

The range i got from repair pal is 1041 to 1400 for the replacement.

Get another opinion. That should be covered under your 60k powertrain warranty as well.
