Steelies to Racing Harts...

Went this weekend to changed up the sneakers at Town Fair since I have liftime rotation for free. In the winter I use 15" winter shoes on steel rims. I brought my summer tires into Town Fair and they told me that the lugnuts currently used to hold on the Winter Rims do not work with the Racing Harts. The guy said I need to go out and get Shank Lugs? Anybody have any advice?

If this is true, I am lugnut stupid, any suggestions for replacement. Should I use dealer?

They should have the lugs there....
I have never heard of lug compatibilty problems. Mine work both ways, but I don't have the racing hearts.

situation -- i live the in the northeast so I bought winter tires w/ steel rims. last december i had the winter install and now come summer, when I want to have the summers back on, I was told my lug nuts dont work.

from what I have been told, our MSP lugs should be regular shank lugs. can any verify? its killing me driving around with this soft wall winters on still during the middle of spring

so does commie....he was salesman at tony march mazda until he got too big for the show and had to go solo (friday)

lugs dont go bad or anything after you use em. so if they are no good then the shop that took them off stripped them, or the shop that is trying to put them on stripped them while trying to put them on. either way someone should be providing you with new ones.

google "spline drives" and get yourself a set of them. PErsonally I would check out autornd.com (get phone number from website and give them a call website is weak or IM on AOL: autornd ) and talk to rishie to get a set otherwise I know I would happen to order the wrong thread or somethin....
