on my mp3 same thing i use the door handle to close my door i just push it with one finger cuz im a wuss and am sick of getting shocked!

Easiest way to prevent shock, is what REMillers stated.
Maintain a grip on a metal surface of your car (door frame, roof top, etc) as you climb out of the seat. Only let go after you are completely out of the vehicle ... then you may breath a sigh of relief and close the door.

What is actually more dangerous than your nipples getting charged is
Setting yourself on fire at the gas pumps.
I don't know if you guys heard about that, but lately (especially during the winter) in a lot of cars, you get chaged because of static electricity. you step out, and pick the nozzole and when you are about to put it in your car, you touch the metal part.
You get the static shock, but there is some gas left on it(or remenats of it). And there you go, you have a person in fire in the gas station.
I haven't see it in person, but I have seen it in the news.
This is as scary as the sniper shooting we had in DC a couple of months back
