2001 MP3 LASER BLUE MICA
Yesterday when i get out of work I went to my car to go home.. of course...
But when i went to start my car nothing was happening. no noise no anything. then everything was coming back on slowly. such as the radio, dash, windshield wipers. and EEE came up on the digital display. Then i put the car in N and let her roll a lil cause the ground was kinda flat but she rolled. and then it just started. so i was letting it warm up. and then i drove to my girlfriends house to pick up my puppy and i was there for only 10-20 min. and i went to start my car and the same thing. only thing different this time I did not roll the car to start it. I just left the key in the "ON" like i was trying to start it and it went. but again everything came on slowly. and the digital display said EEE then changed to my miles, after everything else came on... The car has about 80K on it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

dam thats not cool. hope someone here can guide you to fixing that problem

Just a lil update... I called Mazda... and asked them... They told me that they do not know and have to have it tested. but the guy thinks its the battery...

why is that so bad? its only a couple hundred to replace right? or is it more since our altenators are in the back?

A lil of both. the ******* car died again this morning when i got to work... I think its the battery tho... nothing a good ol' jump cant fix.

I had to change my altenator, cost me fucken 600 and some canadian. My battery was also killed because of that.. but my car never did what yours did, It just wouldnt start in the morning, or at night... but once i got a boost i was good to go.

yea, I hope I do not have to replace the damn alternator. Even If I do I can get the labor cheap... but besides the point... I am hoping it just the battery replacing that tomorrow.

kinda had the same thing happen to me when i first got my p5. when i bought it from the original owners, they said they went on a trip for about a month and left the alarm armed so it drained the battery. anywayz when i took it home and started it up the next day, nothing happened. the radio looked like it was reset as if the battery were disconnect but wasnt. heh i was like freaked out cause my dad said that it might be the alternator. i wish this car would have a battery guage like older cars lol. anywayz my dad let me use his volt meter thing? it helps to see if theres enough alternating current flowing or something.(its an old fashion little meter but it showed that the alternator was alright. old fashion stuffs FTW!! xD) we found out it was the battery. took it back to sears and they traded it in for free cause it was under warranty. change the battery first then if it doesnt work, time to panic xP

awesome yea thats what my car is doing. I am getting a OPTIMA red top. tomorrow. was getting different cranking amps from different people but thats in my other thread ;) and yes... it will be time to panic if this dose not work. lol
