Start an informal Mazda owners group in ABQ, NM?

Would any one here online be interested in forming a Mazda owners group in ABQ, NM? Go for a few cruises, etc...

Now I'm starting to think I'm the only New Mexican posting on this board. LoL Either way, I was thinking it might be fun to meet some more protege members over at SEP, if Shawn doesn't mind us storming his parking lot. Any takers?

I have a friend from home(LA) who has an '02 ES, and he would be down to meet up with us. That would be pretty cool to have all the different versions of the Pro.

And actually this is my new handle. I changed from the old one cuz I liked this one better. so there is really only one that has a red neon plate.

Yeah, sounds good. I'll try extra hard to track people down when I see them. I tried to chase down that modded MP3 that I saw, but it took too long to U-turn and I missed the green light he went through. It was out on coors on the way to SEP, actually.

I wonder if there is any way to get a list of local protege owners from somewhere like the DMV or something.

It would probably be more worthwhile asking or submitting a request to a local mazda dealership that we're starting a club for mazda owners.

Good thinkin, I live close to the one on lomas so I'll go over there tomorrow and see if they can do anything.

Well, there is a privacy act here that is going to make this difficult. I went to Rich mazda on lomas, and they just said that they couldn't help out. I then called both the Santa Fe dealer and the one on University, and they told me about the privacy act.

I guess we just need to make up some cards and go put them on mazda's at the mall or something. I live close to winrock and coronado so I could go down there and lurk around the parking lots tagging cars. I think that maybe Cottonwood would have a good number of mazda's in the lots too. I could maybe make a day-trip of it this week sometime. I need some cards though.

let me know... this weekend we could get together and make some if you're interested and split the tab and job to get them on cars. we should see about leaving them at the dealers too for new car owners.
