stage 1+ ms cai v102 dyno

I'm not in boost until it warms up and its 90 degrees everyday. I don't think that would be any indicator of my egt's. My car does not warm up any quicker than before. I do not have any way to measure egt's so I trust that cobb looks into this. Like I said boost is not increased that much on stage 1+ and back pressure is most likely cobb's concern.
yes I think you would be correct. Cobb realy seems to cover the bases well I am hearing.

In regard to warm up i was thinking about other cars I have owned non turbo, sorry. Thanks

don't have the stock baseline but here is what a guy with a cobb sri and cobb fmic did on the same dyno same day without an accessport. His runs were more consistent with the fmic. Check out the difference at redline.

nice...urs measures up quite nicely...looks like i might need to get a AP asap! I didnt realize it did so much...u spanked him across the board with just the ms cai and the ap...loving your flat torque curve and the car makes power all the way to 6000rpms...very impressive. What gear did they do the pull in, 3rd or 4th?

How long did the computer take to learn everything? Did it drive like s*** at first? I am very interested being that we have the same mods. Thanks for the help.

Plus I have the stock tmic, so their are probably more hp gains over a car with just an intake. Pulls were 4th gear on both cars. The ecu learns quickly. In fact because the tune is for your specific modification, your car needs to learn less than it would if you reset your ecu on the stock map. That being said the car does run smoother after 25 miles once the fuel trims have adjusted and even smoother once you get around 100 miles on the map. It depends on the car though.

what tmic do you have? How did that workout with you using the stage 1+ map that doesnt take an upgraded tmic into effect?

I originally typed I don't have a fmic. I have the ms cai, one step colder plugs and the AP. The other guy had cobb sri and cobb fmic

Wow dread , the first thing I purchased was the ets tmic because the engine bay and exhaust TIP was very hot and I was quite concerned about the motors health long term and short. May I recommend you upgrade in some manner to make best use of intake and then the charged air. the car must fly already!

I was thinking about the upgrade, but I am waiting for a better tmic to come along and I want to see how the tmic's work with cobb's fmic maps. I did get crazy heat soak on the dyno so two of my runs were garbage. It was 95 degrees that day so it was pretty bad. The one-step colder plugs lower your exhaust temperatures.
