SSR GT1's on eBay

I found some relatively decent GT1'a on eBay for an awesome price - with tires; two of which are brand new.

they are 18x8, and this kind of concerns me, because on tirerack.com the widest they allowed on Prot5's were 7.5. Is this a problem?

Plus they will not work with Protege5, sedan only. Trust me i had them. Even in 7.5" they don't make the +48 offset. Only in 17" diameter.

That's my car and that's how I know they won't fit. Automotive R & D is my company. lol. But good try. I love those wheels too. one of my favorites. So frikin classy it sickens me.

if they don't fit, how'd you get them on your car? did you do some custom stuff?

they will fit on the car physically they will just rub the fender wells so you cant drive with them without ruining your tires. that is what he meant
