Bought a newer MSP after trading in my other one for it, Noticed it has a SSAFC V2 on it, but currently isnt hooked up...air hoses are ran but no wires. It came with the USB hook up, but no disk. Can anyone help me out as to see if this car even has a tune, if not how can I obtain one?

Do you have a wideband? If no, you should get one.. cuz that AFC won't do you any good without one.. it's essential for tuning as without one you have no idea how your fuel map modifications are affecting the air/fuel ratios. Since you have a V2 (are you sure it's a V2? It should have 4 orange wires coming out of it) you should get a wideband with data logging capabilities. AEM EUGO is what most of us use and recommend, but I've heard equally good things about the Innovate units.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it's not tuned if the wires aren't hooked up. In order for the AFC to do anything, it must be wired.. it's not something you can wire in, load a map, and then uninstall.. it doesn't flash the stock ECU or anything so if the wiring isn't hooked up then you're on a stock tune as of now. If you decide to wire it, I would suggest you solder all the connections. If you can't solder, pay someone to do it or learn, it's in my opinion a must for something as crucial as a tuning device.

As for the disc, you can find the R4 software on this forum. Post #10 by sean has the .exe file.

Man that was a huge help!!! Yes it does have four wires coming out so I'm fairly certain it is a V2. Thanks again man!!!!
