OMG!!!

Mopar Performance Dodge SRT4 Stage 3R Turbo Upgrade Kit

The Dodge SRT4 is the hottest car in the popular sports compact car market. With its Stage 3R Turbo Upgrade Kit, Mopar makes it even hotter.

The 2.4-liter turbocharged engine in the stock Dodge SRT4 generates 230 horsepower and 250 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mopar Performance Dodge SRT4 Stage 3R Turbo Upgrade Kit boosts power to an unheard of - in this segment - 310 horsepower (with 91 octane fuel) at 5600 rpm and 325 lb.-ft. of torque between 3200 and 4800 rpm.

A 16 percent larger compressor wheel diameter is featured with the kits turbo unit, allowing for increased air flow and additional intake air compression. A 19 percent larger turbine wheel diameter increases exhaust flow and reduces back pressure.

When the kit is accompanied by the Mopar Performance Cat-Back Exhaust System and "Turbo Toys" - a package consisting of an intercooler sprayer, "Dial-A-Boost" switch and a high-octane fuel switch - performance is upgraded further to a phenomenal 355 horsepower (with 100-octane fuel) at 5200 rpm and 365 lb.-ft. of torque at 3200-4800 rpm.

Yeah, welcome to 6 months ago!

ps $3800

OMG. That's crazy when you consider this is all dealer/manufacturer supported!! Why can't anyone else do stuff like this? This is making it harder and harder to hate Dodge.

Yeah dealerships are turning away Stage 2 cars en masse. What does "supported" mean? It means that they will sell it to you, maybe (stressed maybe) install it and then void your warranty.

Thats interesting like to see some of the details on those cases though. It could be the cars were abused, or bad dealers etc. You can take a stock car with no mods to some dealers and they will turn it away stating abuse. And some people have had their cars rejected cause of shaddy dealers while others had no problems.

Or perhaps to many staged cars have come in with problems they are getting over thier heads.

stage 3 has been in development for awhile but the one thing i do love is the turbo toys kit, its so awesome. has hi-octane mode, dial in 4 boost levels and intercooler spray control all in one badass panel that fits under the radio

Very nice HP. Too bad they didn't release an interior upgrade kit, rear window motors, different wheels and a lowering kit.

people are having problems getting their stage 1 cars warranty work done, i doubt a stage 3 with new turbo, etc.. is going to keep the warranty intact :D, stage 2 voids it if im not mistaken?

none of those are supposed to void your warranty, i thought that was the whole point

Yep and most dealers are suppose to do a MSP ECU flash, yet sometimes it is like pulling teeth orginally.

On Dodge's site itself, it states the Mopar parts are so as-is and without warranty of any kind.

People need to read up themselves rather than just go with rumors. :D

Uuuuu I have not had a problem and I know that many other SRT guys have not had a problem. Buddy of mine has a aftermarket turbo kit and had some issues and it was covered! The warranty says will void the warranty BUT if you know the MOPAR PERFORMANCE warranty says that if that part causes a failier of any kind it and whatever it took out will be covered!

But yeah the Stage 3R on 100octane mode will bring 369hp!!! Oooo baby here comes 3R!

Also TOTALLY depends on the dealership. There are DICKHEAD dealers out there! Which I don't totally understand cause if they fix it they get payed... Who knows!
