my friend david was drivin his SRT and i was in the passanger side... and he came up on a MAXIMA... and a second later they took off and then DAMN!!!! CAN U SAY WHHHHOOOPPEDD!!!

Your friend must have been racing an SXT Neon. There's no way in hell that a Maxima beat a SRT-4.

Well, I was brought to this board by friends of my wife and I, and they have a 03 Spicy Orange MSP they are selling. My wife wants it really, really bad, so who am I to argue? I'll have two turboed cars in my stable! Hopefully they'll still have it by the time I get back from my deployment.

I just joined on here to see what's going on in the MSP world, and to quiet the SRT-4 haters at the same time. So hopefully when I get back home in October, I'll be a full-fledged member of the board.

There's no way in hell that a Maxima beat a SRT-4.

You Never Know. The 2000 Maxima's were the Fastest maxima's until 2003.

I know that the 2003 Maxima's can hit 0-60 in 6.0flat and turn's the 1/4mile in 14.5@97mph. The 2000's aren't too far off from the 2003's. Also Maybe it had some stuff done to it.

A maxima with some tricks can run pretty quick, SRT-4 are fast but to damm ulgy for me..

yea...SRT-4 vs. MSP...on a track..MSP will womp it..in a straight line..SRT by a long shot..now if your going to tell me a 3900lb Max with its 260 crank horse which equals about 230whp..is going to take a 2800lb boosted SRT..your out of your mind..maybe the max had mods..maybe it was an SXT neon..we'll never know..but stock max vs. SRT..all you'll be seeing is a neons ass and taillights...I do like the SRT..BUT I would much rather have a new trans-am..there is NO replacment for displacement....PERIOD
