SR20 vs SRT-4

I'm really surprised Shem(redrims) hasn't responded to this thread yet. He has a nasty 200sx with the SR20 det Bluebird engine in it and he loves that damn thing. From what I've heard, that little 200sx will burn V8's all day long. It's really quite impressive.

Alright heres the finale, the srt basically cheated. He used slicks and the sr20 used street tires. Not to mention the srt4 red lighted.

Basically the srt only won because he had slicks. Pretty damn lame if you ask me, basically he pussied out at the last minute and broke the rules to win.

umm...he wasn't the one driving the SR20 powered car...the whole story was that a guy with an SRT-4 thought he was pretty damn fast in his car and would race anyone, so someone w/ an SR20 challenged him. the guy w/ the SRT-4 used drag slicks, when they agreed upon street tires only...and this thread is a month and a half old...

uhhh, i drove all the way to LACR to race this guy, to find him on slicks. he didnt even want to race me, we ended up lining up by accident (some other cars in his lane wanted to race each other, so his line moved faster).

i wanted to race him anyway for fun, figuring we would have a real match later on according to the rules he agreed to. he then posts to my list that he "broke me the **** off" and that angered me, and s***.

yep.... ive seen that srt-4 in action. he's from dynoworks right? i chilled with a few srt-4 members at the track last weekend and he had the ******* thing running 11.1 @ 132mph. i couldnt believe it!!!!! that is one fast ass srt-4.

the car has already gone 129mph in the 1/4, boost only, no nitrous. IIRC, Dave is running nitrous on his car.

but, alas, i am also starting my foray into pro road racing, so the turbo beast will have to wait a little...

the car has already gone 129mph in the 1/4, boost only, no nitrous. IIRC, Dave is running nitrous on his car.

I know that a 240sx would get whipped by srt 4 even with a sr20 swap with smilar whp... Even tho the 200sx is lighter, it loses in the rwd department and launching would be hard as hell for him. besides its the torque that counts and the dodge engine has a better torque curve so my money is on srt4...

And now I'm trying to figure out how the hell I managed to dig up a two month old thread. Anyway, that 200 is one beast of a car, and I'd certainly take one of them over an srt any day. You shoulda slashed his slicks before you ran. With a grenade launcher...
