Hi everyone,
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 GT manual. I've noticed the last couple of months an intermittent squeaking noise somewhere in the area of my left foot. I haven't determined if its inside the car or in the engine area, but I believe the latter.
I've been able to determine the easiest way to make it do it, and that is when I accelerate hard and then let off the gas completely. I also managed to do it in the driveway, parked. It's definitely when the motor is moving the most, like the extreme movement when the motor changes from acceleration to deceleration as mentioned.
Have you guys heard of any similar issues, and do you know what it could be? With my somewhat knowledge of cars, I'm thinking it may be either an engine or transmission mount making the noise.
Thank you for any help or advice!
