Square Push Button Dash Switch?

Looking at installing some LED strobe type lights into the headlights and rear lights of my cx-5 sport. I pull off onto the shoulders a good bit, and I feel like I need more than the built-in hazard lights for safety. I like the idea of having permanent hideaway lights installed instead of a light bar or beacon.

My main issue is that I would like to have a push button on/off switch installed next to the existing TSC and Tire Reset buttons on the dash that are to the left of the steering wheel. And of course I would love to have the switch be nearly identical to those two buttons, but so far I haven't found anything online that is similar. Any thoughts?

Haven't looked deeply into the entire installation just yet, and I'm not the best when it comes to this stuff, so any help would be appreciated.

Other than sourcing a replacement switch set and modifying that (along with the original switch bank) to your needs, have you considered the little cubby below it for a switch location? It's apparently the spot for the SD card that comes with the Tom-Tom nav kit and unless you had thoughts on getting that or a need, it'd make a great place with not too much work and you could use any switch you wanted (covered toggle switch ala self-destruct or fire nukes switch lol).

The other idea is that possibly the blank/dummy switches could be freed from the existing unit and made to work with a push button switch of your choosing.

I was hoping to use one of the blank/dummy slots, but I thinkin it will be hard to find a switch that matches or blends in well with the others. But putting one by itself, in some other location, may be the easiest option.

I tried to find the switch panel in the manual or a better pic of the GT dash, but came up empty. My thought was that if one of the blank covers could be removed, that would form the basis of the switch by placing a simple pushbutton type behind that piece so that the blank button would mash the actual switch. The switch would have to be mounted on something to provide a solid footing to function and then it would look stock. At this point I'm speculating because I've not seen what lies beneath that switch panel. If space allowed it, you could cut an opening in one of the blank spots and mount a rocker switch there.

Thanks for your help. I didn't think about possibly using the existing blank button on top of the switch. I'll just have to open things up and take a look one day.

In some markets more of the switches are used so if you could get one of thoes you might be able to use say the istop switch for your purpose...
