Spring Meet April 4th in Louisville

WRCprotege, Jason, is having it at his house off of Bardstown Rd by I265, Gene Snyder.

If you want to install anything and don't have the tools post up so we can be prepared. Also, bring your waxes, polishes, clay, so we can get our cars prepped for the season!

We can figure what to do for lunch at the meet. Either chip in on pizza or hit the road and go somewhere.

Hey guys, not going to be able to make it. My oldest son and I will be leaving town the 3rd to take a trip to Gatlinburg for his birthday and won't be back until the 5th.

Bummer, I would have liked to come. I need to get this rear motor mount and tranny mount installed soon!!

By the way, I'm no longer in Louisville. I have moved to Sellersburg. If anyone is from this neck of the woods, look me up!!

You can thin it out a bit and apply a few thin coats. It keeps it from globing up. I can do it, just let me know so I can bring some thinner.

I believe that weekend is actually wide open for me, which is rare. I should be able to make this one.

I should be there. It'll be nice and clean for the 502 street scene meet on the 5th at Cox's park too! I'm actually gonna wash and clean up my car today since its nice out and sick of it looking dirty.

Sounds great except forgot that it is swap meet weekend. I will probably have to be at that. Though hopefully my dad will be down. If he does then he can take over at the show while I run over to the meet. I have the touch up paint. I will let you know closer to event if I will be able to make it.

Pressure washer? Do plan to go mudding before the meet? LOL

I use Blue Coral car soap if the car already has wax on it, and dish soap if it doesn't or if I plan to wax it. I will bring my huge jug of Blue Coral out. I have tried other brands and haven't been impressed.

This isn't the one at Tom Sawyer. We had a meet at WRCprotege's house last time and it is in a central location in Louisville. Some people have parts to install and detailing to do; this is difficult to do at Tom Sawyer.

When is the Miata meet in Georgetown?

It's not a Miata meet. It's a car show. I compete against muscle cars, hot rods, etc with my Mazdas. Last year, I hit the circuit with my LT1 RX-7. It was different, the only one like it at shows, and won quite a few trophies. This year, I'm using the LS6 Miata and the Roush as our show cars. The Miata will most likely be the only one like it in shows. It gives the show attendees something different to see. I'm hoping it's as successful as the RX-7 was. For sure, it'll look a little better, this time. New paint, seats, etc to clean it up. Anyway, it's on the same day as this meet. That's why I asked about Tom Sawyer to be sure it may still be on. I have a better chance at that one.
