Spotted mazdas in Houston!!

Spotted a black msp around 528 close to alvin with the clear part of the tails blacked out, followed to some back roads for some spirited driving. (2thumbs)

I have a crappy intake, a crappy exhaust, stock springs, some semi-okay struts and that's it. My car doesn't even go 115. :( My car is very slow. Trying to change that, but I haven't gotten the $$$ yet.

Also, I saw a dark colored (looked black) MSP at Q-Bar off Mason Rd. Then I saw a blue MSP on mason heading South and turned left onto Highland Knolls. Haven't seen either one of the cars out in Katy.

Saw a Black MSP and an orange MSP at the meet I went to last night. And I met a guy who had a Silver MSP, but he didn't bring it that night. The Proteges are slowly coming out over here. Haha!!! FINALLY!!!

Anyone here that drives a silver MSP live in the neighborhood off Tanglewilde in westchase? I saw you today.

I have seen tons of P5's and Proteges around town the past few days. Only a couple looked to be modded though. Anyone else see anything?

a yellow mp3 pulled up next to me in traffic on 59 on my way home from work heading northbound just after shepherd. i miss my mp3....:(

How much different was the drivability of the MP3 compared to your MSP? and isnt the Gas mileage about the same just marginally worse?

I keep seeing the same Silver MSP over and over again in The Woodlands. I swear I see this guy all of the time! GETTING CREEPY! It's nice though.

drivability in terms of what? the msp handled tighter but i credit that to comparing a car with 90k miles vs one with 5k miles. Otherwise it was a lot of the same except that after i would drive the mp3 all day and then go home and switch....the speed seemed so much faster. but then if i drove the speed all weekend and then took the mp3 to work i felt it was so slow and ended up driving on the freeway in 4th gear a lot. milage is much better in the speed! i only got about 280 miles till the gas light came on in the mp3. i get about 300 - 320 miles with the speed and 350 - 360 when im dumped (open exhaust). really makes a huge difference. i think a lot of that has to do with changing gears quicker and at lower rpms since the speed is already quicker. when im dumped i really shift at low rpms just because it gets so loud after 3k, by 4-5k i can't hear anything anymore so i rarelly take it up that high.

stopped by uh today and as i was coming around the arch building a black speed6 was coming the opposite direction. i slowed way down in the curve and he did the same as we stared at eachothers cars at 3 mph.

I recently put down 350 miles to the tank too mang. Best ive gotten so far after treating it with SeaFoam, Oil Change, etc.....

I put about 20 miles on the ride in the last 2-3 weeks :) Carpool'n ftw.

....ohh and to contribute to this thread, saw a black speed6 in my apartments.....as i do everyday :p

How does the Subaru and the MSP differ in terms of gas mileage, or is there no difference?

My AT Protege 2.0LX got about 26 mpg on a tank with moderate mixed driving got to about 28 mpg on pure highway miles, which is not as good an MSP, which gets about 29 - 32?

My Subaru on the other hand, with it being AWD, gets 22 mpg on mixed driving. I was actually ecstatic a couple of days ago when I got 24, with a lot of granny driving keeping the car under 3K rpm. Full boost on the WRX isn't achieved till around 4K till 6.5K. I complain about the gas because i fill up every 4 days and is killing me with premium prices.

16 gal tank x 3.20 a gal x 7~8 times a month = PAIN

* edit *

Theres a beautiful black MS6 that drives around my neighborhood.
