Sportshift AT Driving Tips Thread

I am assuming you are not talking to me. My post was directed to quadrent when he mentioned the volkswagons shift up before it hits the rev limiter. I haven't seen a tranny in sport mode shift up automatically.

So when I hit that rev wall and shifted to 2 gear, I must be full of crap?

Why don't you all learn how to shift the damn thing? Or better yet, it's an auto, let i t shift itself since you all seem to be incompetent.

well, this is a sportshift driving tip thread... some people, like me, dont like driving in auto all the time.

I usually drive in full auto, and in those 2 instances you mentioned, just stepping on the gas will drop down to the lowest gear possible to get going.
