2010 Mazda 3
I put eibach sportline springs on my car from a 2009 and earlier mazda 3, I have a 2010 mazda 3 and assumed that all suspension components fit as nobody has said anything about them not fitting on any other car. So I talked to my mechanic and they said that when I turn my wheel I am actually making the spring slightly move, and it makes a slight noise. I dont understand why people with pro kits and coilovers are not getting this noise but with sportline springs I am all the sudden getting this noise. Is it possible something is wrong with the spring, for some reason I cant see why these springs would be moving in the perch when they are same fit for a 2009 and below mazda 3 ANY help is appreciated. Also I searched online and cant find any 2010 mazda 3's with these springs for me to ask them if they are getting noise. Please help as the noise is really annoying, and I know its not strut bearings because I replaced those already, I destroyed the ones that were on it before.

Im running the gen 1 pro-kits on my 2010 speed 3. I know r cars weigh more but im just driving it back and forth to work. I get like pop noises when i park my car and move my steering wheel.

I got that on my Protege, and it had nothing to do with the wrong springs. The person who owned the car before me did not put the rubber perches back on correctly, that's why the springs moved. You might want to take one of the fronts apart and make sure the perches are lined up correctly..

I am sure they are right, but maybe for some reason or another something got out of whack and I didnt notice. I am about to drive to Fla. and then when I get back will be able to really figure out what to do. I think I am going to have to just grit it out for a while and then look into getting some coilovers. I get a really good deal on them from my local shop Grossman Tuning. We will see I guess. Its still annoying and I will probably have to call Eibach when I get back home or while im on vacation to ask them what they think about the problem, maybe they had a bad run or something and the springs werent quite long enough, I dont know?

Well if you figure it out you should tell me. Brought my car to the shop to have them do a alignment and asked if they can glance at it. They didnt say anything was wrong with the springs. The camber was all good but it was toe'd out a little, same with the rears.
